The Ultimate Paint by Number Guide for Beginners

1. Find a comfortable and well-lit room to paint.

2. Open your paint by number kit and lay out the canvas, paints, and brushes.

3. Unroll the canvas and carefully iron it on to remove any creases (optional step).

4. Fill up a cup of water and lay out a few paper towels - the paper towels are important for cleaning your brushes when changing colours!

5. Match each of the numbered paint pots with the corresponding pre-numbered area on the canvas. We strongly recommend painting one number at a time to prevent the paints from drying out.

6. Start painting the darker colours first, then proceed to paint the lighter colours whilst painting from the top to the bottom.

7. Dip the tip of your paintbrush in the paint pot and begin painting the canvas! Using the tip will increase the precision of your strokes and help you stay within the pre-printed lines.
